Australia Day Projects
Beenai Project:
This Australia Day we launched a new project and are requesting members and supporters to donate their old pairs of eye glasses to those in Pakistan who cannot afford to buy one.
You can help us in different ways for example plasing our flyer at your workplace/local supermarket /institutions with your name as the contact person.
Initiatives Supporting Education
Government Primary School, Kuthiala, is located in village Kuthiala, Tehsil Sambrial, District Sialkot, Province Punjab, Pakistan, located 200 kilometers south from Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan. The School was formed in 1974, wiped off many times by flood. The present concrete building was finally erected in 1982 and was in need of basic needs.
Our secretary Fatima Khushnud arranged a stall at Eid Fair and raised funds to provide school bags and other utilities for the school.

Volunteer grants 2013
We are also recipient of FAHCSIA grant to buy essential equipment for our organisation. This includes PA System and Media Projector with Screen.
BENDIGO Senior Week 10 -17th November 2013:
Funding has also been received for organising a poetry and Prose reading eve during Senior's Week.

City of Vincent sponsored our Eid Milan and Independence Day event on 17th August 2013.

May 23: PIA serves Pakoras with Chutney for Australia's biggest morning tea at UWA Guild Village
PIA honored by the Pakistan Hockey Federation
The Secretary, Rana Mujahid Ali awarded a shield to the Group on the last day of the tour as a token of appreciation for all the support.
Rida Ahmed who volunteered as a liasion officer was also awarded the official emblem of the Pakistan Hockey Federation.
